Located in the Nanxiang Intelligence Zone and the Nanxiang International Residential Community at the junction of Zhongjia Road and Zhennan Road, China MCC20 Group Co., Ltd and Shineton have built a HOPSCA (Hotels, Offices, Parks, Shopping Malls, Clubs and Apartments) concept. MCC/Shineton City Plaza takes up 200,000m2 of this development and boasts two open platforms which connect directly into Nanxiang Metro Station on Line 11. It close to a transit hub with service from 7 bus lines, and there is a plan for a Nanxiang Sub-line called ‘Metro L3’.
Upon exiting the metro station, you walk directly upon the roof of the shopping complex, which is used as a pathway between buildings and has a variety of shops as well, such as a Dairy Queen and a Starbucks. The mall itself is four stories tall and is composed of 3 separate halls joined together. One unique feature of the mall is the surprising amount of bathrooms. It has a movie theater, ‘Poly Max’ and a variety of shops serving the locals. The anchor is a ‘City Shop’ which has an excellent selection of products, especially German products. The prices are a bit high and the amount of vegetables is fairly small, but the German folk songs for music is fun. There are amusement centres for children to play in.
